A fully programmable secure web gateway

TL;DR

Traditional secure web gateways offer fixed actions, forcing teams with custom security needs to either accept vendor limits or maintain their own proxies. Cloudflare is adding a Forward action and custom validation functions to Gateway and Data Loss Prevention, letting teams run Cloudflare Workers directly during policy evaluation to modify traffic or use their own data in security decisions. Available across all Zero Trust plans, these capabilities aim to provide custom controls without the overhead of separate proxy infrastructure.
